Compared to LDA pads, blocks add two 1 mm thick layers of aluminum, an internal layer of maple, and seven 3D2 7-layer pads for a total of 52 layers. A future generation will substitute an eight-layer 3D2 on the top of an Entropic for 53 layers
Blocks are beneficial when placed under amplifiers, speaker stands, and both digital and analog components.
