3D2s and Entropics use well-regarded and understood Constrained Layer Technology. The surprise that the 3D2s and Entropics improved sound when placed under power inputs led Les Davis to explore what could be crafted for audio out of Entropics (Earthling NEMA 5-15P), then 3D2s (Earthling IEC C15), and then to use 3D printers and 3D2 material to make products that close connections that may serve as antennas into audio components:

The greatest benefit was found by using Earthling RJ45s on routers. Les Davis Audio is not an electrical engineering company. However, just because an effect isn't fully understood doesn't mean it's not real. Listen for yourself. Eyes Wide Open doesn't mean Ears Shut.

A few customers purchase 33 1/3D LP Mats and cut them into pieces to place around electrical devices. Obviously, we don't condone working on powered devices this way. It's not safe. Still, we understand why people think about it after listening.
